In this blog page you will see in detail how it works and what benefits this brings new genius on the SONY.
For what we've seen before on TV or not, the new handheld console brings us to a better dimension of perception of the Indus for players from all over the world. With this new concept of portable gaming SONY has put between the archives of the PSP XrossMediaBar, as for his ingenious idea has chosen a novel operating system: it resembles the one used by smartphones.
First, the PSP LIFE features a section called Home which will install all downloaded applications. With a flick of your finger from top to bottom or vice versa, you can go to the Home while starting a game or application to the right potràa access another fantastic menu: LIVE AREA. The beauty of this console is that it can carry up to seven applications simultaneously.
With another flick of the finger, finally, the player can access the section dedicated to the trophies of the games, the charts and activity logs.

"LIFE" in a few applications!!
The PSP Life is not just fun and games, is also social networks and sharing of personal achievements, photos, is also remote play, group messaging and more. Now we see in detail what gives us Shuhei Yoshida with his new found genius.
Let's start with what you find on the home console.
First find the PS STORE, which has the same features seen on the PS3. From your account, in fact, you can download the content that you can buy, such as games and DLC. They will also be demos of the games coming. You will also notice that you can not access the store without first obtaining a Foreign complicated procedure to reset the console.
At this point there is the option by which we can surf the internet: the BROWSER.
"Life" includes a web browser with easy to navigate pages that do not involve extensive use of Flash (not supported). Sites like YouTube do not work, but could eventually be published in a special application. The interface is completely touch and has a retractable keyboard.
It does not end here. The fantastic console is also provided in the "Friends". By connecting to the PSN, you can access your friends list, compare trophies, join a game in progress and send text messages and calls. You can find all the options already seen in the corresponding menu of the PS3, then you should not have any particular problems to get used to the system.
Let us go forward to getting one of the most interesting point for young players: the section for Music.
Like the PS3, also Life is able to play music files, showing the album cover. The console can run MP3, WAV and MP4, but unfortunately at the moment lacks support for other formats. The play continues even if you run another application, provided that it is not a game.
It does not end here ... PS Life can play MPEG-4 video with AAC audio and supports two formats: simple profile (320x240) and AVC profile (up to 720p). It also includes several basic options, such as jumping to the next scene. Unfortunately not quite popular formats are supported, including AVI, MKV, and you can not take screenshots.
At last but not least, we have a very important section analysis: the "Settings".
From here you can update your console via Wi-Fi, DLC manage, configure and access the Internet, access to PSN, format the memory card, set your location data to applications that use this function (Near Photo and [that we will see below]), set the time and date, and much more.
You say that there have been steps forward?? Let me know your opinions!
